EduSmart is a growing edutech platform that struggled with low student completion rates due to visual overload. Our UI/UX design team completely overhauled the app's interface architecture, rigorously applying principles of cognitive psychology and Gestalt Law. We rigorously reorganized the visual information hierarchy, removed unnecessary distractions, and incorporated balanced whitespace to reduce user fatigue when reading lengthy course materials. We also designed an interactive learning progress dashboard with a color scheme that psychologically stimulates children's learning focus. Post-redesign results showed a 50% jump in course completion rates, proving that a comfortable cognitive flow significantly impacts long-term retention of digital product interactions. Application of human-computer interaction principles and laws of visual psychology to improve student learning retention.
